Kari Hartman is an Associate at Hathaway & Kunz whose practice focuses primarily on litigation. Drawing on prior experience in the federal courts, she represents clients across a range of federal litigation matters, including personal injury, construction, intellectual property, employment, business, and other commercial disputes. She is also among a small group of attorneys with substantive Wyoming Chancery Court experience, having conducted the second trial ever in that court’s history. In addition to her trial work, she represents clients on appeal at both the federal and state levels.
Kari’s practice extends beyond the courtroom to transactional work, including employment and corporate matters, and she assists clients with development permitting, particularly in the energy and natural resources sector.
Across every matter, Kari is committed to responsiveness and to finding practical, efficient solutions to the challenges her clients face.
A lifelong Wyomingite, Kari values both the state’s natural beauty and its people. Outside of work, she plays music, golfs, and hikes. She was named to Mountain States Rising Stars for Business Litigation in 2025.
