Raised in Wyoming, Tanner has a strong appreciation for the people and communities that make our state unique.
A graduate of Cheyenne Central High School, Tanner earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Blockchain Technologies from the University of Wyoming. He then chose to attend the University of Wyoming College of Law, pursuing a goal to build a career in Wyoming and give back to the community that shaped him.
During law school, Tanner sought out a broad range of practical legal experiences. He worked with the U.S. Department of Justice in Yellowstone National Park, gained experience in civil litigation through his work with a civil defense firm, and further developed his advocacy skills through the University of Wyoming College of Law’s Defender Aid Clinic. He also pursued legal scholarship, including a publication in the Wyoming Law Review.
Beyond work, Tanner enjoys spending time with his family, all things outdoors (no matter the season), and cheering for the Bills and Pokes every weekend.
